In response to the extreme bushfire season of 2019/2020, Albury Wodonga Creatives curated a public art exhibition to pay tribute to the first responders who were fighting the fires in regional Australia. The project is a series of ephemeral photography, podcast interviews and a website in the main street of Wodonga, Victoria. The purpose was to provide a public communal space to pay tribute to the many people who risked their lives during the 2019/2020 bushfire season and was funded entirely through donations from local small businesses.

Women of the River exhibition
